Magnificent Lie is a genre spanning act with each album offering something slightly different within the electronica/alt-rock/synthpop/triphop genres. It is the contemporary project of '80s era music artist, Jason Mysteria. Magnificent Lie has performed on the bill with many popular international acts such as The Dreaming (Stabbing Westward), Julien-K (Orgy), and more. Magnificent Lie has released 5 albums to date with a 6th on the way in 2024, and can be heard on the soundtracks of the feature films "References", "Stealing Sunrise 2: Malibu Trail", "Barely Dreaming", and "Just for a Week". Magnificent Lie has also released cover songs by artists Depeche Mode, The Smiths, and early Ministry.
